Martha is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) who has practiced yoga for more than two decades. Her teaching is deeply informed by the ways Iyengar Yoga harnesses tradition and innovation to support the unique needs and potentials of particular bodies.
Classes Starting Oct. 24th and 29th
- Tuesdays 1-2pm, Yoga Fundamentals: Open to practitioners with any level/type of yoga experience or none. Focused on creating a solid foundation for yoga practice as moving meditation. Use of props and adjustments to benefit every body.
- Sundays 3.30-5pm, Continuing Iyengar Yoga: Open to everyone with any yoga experience in any method. Taught in the Iyengar method, with sustained attention to individual poses. Includes instruction in inversions (shoulder stand, supported headstand, etc.). Use of props and adjustments to benefit every body.
